Edgewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 61-52 to the Madison Blue Streaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Streaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-49 back in January.
Edgewood lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Faith Vencill, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Carly Kray was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 17 points and eight boards.
