Basketball Recap: Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) vs. Devine Warhorses
Uvalde lost against Devine back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) fell to the Devine Warhorses 62-58.
Devine was led to victory by Mason Beaver and Karson Ray. Beaver went 9 for 20 to rack up 24 points and five steals, while Ray went 5 of 8 on his way to 17 points and seven boards. Beaver is becoming a predictor of Devine's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 12-17 when he doesn't).
