Basketball Recap: Pratt Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pratt can now relate to. They fell to the Circle Thunderbirds 45-40. That's two games in a row now that the Greenbacks have lost by exactly five points.

Circle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in boards. Brookelyn Patty was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 10 points and six rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Pratt and nudges their season record down to 11-9-1. As for Circle, they moved to 10-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Pratt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Circle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 35-30 loss against Buhler on the 8th.
