Meanwhile, everything went Los Fresnos' way against La Joya on Monday as Los Fresnos made off with a 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Los Fresnos pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Roma, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.
