De La Salle Collegiate hadn't done well against Brother Rice recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. De La Salle Collegiate came out on top against Brother Rice by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on Thursday.

Joseph Cuppari was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brady Lee, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

De La Salle Collegiate has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs this season. As for Brother Rice, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
