Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Olive Branch walked away with it. They came out on top against the Neshoba Central Rockets by a score of 85-76 on Friday. The Conquistadors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Neshoba Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shastyn Lewis, who posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave Lewis a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jiar Henry, who had 24 points.

The victory (which was Olive Branch's sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Neshoba Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16.
