Corona/Vaughn extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Harper Dunn. The Corona/Vaughn Cardinals strolled past the Hondo Valley Eagles with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 48-30 thanks in part to Dunn, who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, ten rebounds, and ten blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 27 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kassidy Lightfoot, who went 8 of 18 en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in blocks.

Corona/Vaughn pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 40% in those games and 18.6% outside of them. As for Hondo Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
