There's no place like home for Cole Valley Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Fruitland Grizzlies on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Karlie Barnum was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cole Valley Christian got a massive performance out of Lola Crosby, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Lauren Colson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Cole Valley Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fruitland only posted a batting average of .000.

Cole Valley Christian's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Fruitland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Cole Valley Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Grizzlies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
