Basketball Recap: Idaho City Wildcats vs. Vision
The Idaho City Wildcats's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against Vision by a score of 56-49. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Idaho City considering their 17-point performance the contest before.
Vision's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raelynn Nickel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 steals. Nickel has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Angel Gutierrez, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Idaho City's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Vision, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Idaho City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vision also has no future games currently scheduled.
