Basketball Game Preview: Weber Warriors vs. Fremont Silverwolves

The Weber Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Fremont Silverwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weber knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matches -- so hopefully Fremont likes a good challenge.

Weber is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Syracuse just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 77-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 61-51 to Farmington. While the Silverwolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Phoenix 16-8 in the first quarter.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Weber, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Weber beat Fremont 72-61 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fremont's Hunter Hansen, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 25 points.
