Madison Southern posted their closest victory since February 2, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Pineville Mountain Lions out 49-46. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 63-54 win the Mountain Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Madison Southern and bumps their season record up to 8-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games.
