Soccer Game Preview: Millard West vs. Gretna East

The Millard West Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Gretna East Griffins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Millard West's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Westview 5-0. Millard West's winning goal came courtesy of Carly Mohatt.

Meanwhile, Gretna East entered their tilt with Standing Bear on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Grizzlies. Give Gretna East's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

The win got Millard West back to even at 1-1. As for Gretna East, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
