Stagg and Richards are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richards took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Stagg, who comes in off a win.

Stagg took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Conant, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cougars 4-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Richards has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.13 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against Lane Tech, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since May 20, 2024.

Richards' defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Stagg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-26.
