Baseball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley suffered their biggest defeat since April 13th on Friday. They came up short against the Western Beaver Golden Beavers, falling 13-4.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Western Beaver, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

Central Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Pine-Richland on the 8th. As for Western Beaver, they will head out to face off against South Side at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Beavers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
