Basketball Recap: Invictus Takes a Loss

Invictus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles, falling 61-10. Invictus was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as AIMS College Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

It was another big night for Nahom Solomon, who went 7 for 13 en route to 15 points and six steals for AIMS College Prep. That's the most steals Solomon has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caleb Powell, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

Invictus' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for AIMS College Prep, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

As of now, neither Invictus nor AIMS College Prep have any future games scheduled.
