Ridgeview Global Studies Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 68-19 loss at the hands of the Poinciana Eagles. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Kobi Brown II had a dynamite game For Poinciana., putting up 16 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Jahmai Johnson was another key player, shooting 83% from the field on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy has already played their next game (against Fort Meade), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Poinciana, they will head out to challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
