Basketball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Ketcham Storm, falling 63-31. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Storm: they've now lost nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Carmel saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Livulpi posted 13 points.

Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Ketcham, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Coincidentally, Carmel and Ketcham will both be playing Mahopac the next time they take the court. Carmel will head out to face Mahopac at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Ketcham will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
