Preview: MTI School of Knowledge vs. KIPP Legacy Lions
MTI School of Knowledge is 0-3 against KIPP Legacy since November of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. MTI School of Knowledge will head out on the road to square off against the KIPP Legacy Lions at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
MTI School of Knowledge suffered their biggest loss yet this season two weeks ago. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 63-40 walloping at the hands of Purdue Broad Ripple.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 77-40, which was the final score in KIPP Legacy's tilt against Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats on Friday.
KIPP Legacy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Nick Mapp, who scored 29 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mapp has scored all season.
MTI School of Knowledge bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for KIPP Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
MTI School of Knowledge might still be hurting after the 70-50 loss they got from KIPP Legacy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can MTI School of Knowledge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
