West had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Reef Sharman sure wasn't going down easily. Sharman was unstoppable, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
