Baseball Recap: Columbia Falls Short of Ballston Spa in the Playoffs

Columbia and Ballston Spa squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Columbia had to settle for second. They lost 11-5 to the Scotties. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Scotties this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-4 defeat last Thursday.

Columbia saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ronan Kreshik, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Ballston Spa, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

As of now, neither Columbia nor the Scotties have any future games scheduled.
