DeSales had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Garfield-Palouse Vikings get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. Considering the Irish have won 14 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

DeSales' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Garfield-Palouse, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-8-1.
