Baseball Recap: Walters Takes a Loss

After flying high against Frederick on Monday, Walters came back down to earth. Walters came up short against the Big Pasture Rangers on Tuesday, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Walters has suffered since March 3rd.

Walters' defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Big Pasture, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walters will venture away from home to face off against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Pasture, they will head out to challenge Empire at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Rangers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
