Softball Preview: Rosholt Hornets vs. Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers        
        
		
            
 After three games on the road, Rosholt is heading back home. They will take on the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Rosholt gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They put the hurt on Tri-County with a sharp  16-9 victory.
  Addi Gagas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and five unearned) runs off   five  hits. Gagas has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Gagas was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Gracie Flees was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.  Natalie Rink was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-6.
 Meanwhile, Wittenberg-Birnamwood earned  a  9-5 win over Clintonville  on Saturday.
 Rosholt's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Wittenberg-Birnamwood, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season.
 Rosholt might still be hurting after the  13-1 loss they got from Wittenberg-Birnamwood  when the teams last played  back in April of 2019.
