Soccer Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ironton Fighting Tigers. Rock Hill were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Ironton earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Ironton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Fighting Tigers beat Rock Hill by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.
