Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Highland Hornets
Roosevelt lost against Highland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders fell to the Highland Hornets 60-54. While losing is never fun, the Rough Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Hornets are ranked 59th).

Defeat or not, Roosevelt got some senior leadership from Jaden Dennison and Ryan Slocum. Dennison went 8 of 17 en route to 19 points and six steals, while Slocum went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points.
