Basketball Recap: Bishop Lynch Comes Up Short

Bishop Lynch suffered their closest loss since January 24th on Friday. They fell just short of the Crandall Pirates by a score of 56-54. The Friars were up 41 in the first, but they couldn't quite seal the deal.

Tj Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crandall, shooting 55% from the field en route to 26 points. The contest was Taylor's third in a row with at least 25 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Franklin, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points.

Bishop Lynch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Crandall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Bishop Lynch won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Carter at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crandall, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Pinkston at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
