            Germantown proved they can win big  on Wednesday (they won by 15) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions  11-10.
 The team  relied heavily on  Sammy Flandreau, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  David Schmitz, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Germantown's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-7. As for Berlin/New Lebanon,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Looking ahead, Germantown will challenge Webutuck at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will take on Watervliet at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
