Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sean Jansen and Joey Baumker Lead Plainfield North to Victory

After losing to Willowbrook the last time they met, Plainfield North decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Warriors 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Plainfield North was led to victory by Joey Baumker and Sean Jansen. Baumker had 11 digs, while Jansen had eight digs. Those 11 digs gave Baumker a new career-high. Charlie Hurst also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Willowbrook, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainfield North will host Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willowbrook, they will challenge Hinsdale South at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
