Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Las Lomas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Head-Royce Jayhawks on Tuesday.

Las Lomas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

Bryson Boydstun-Eaton paced Las Lomas' offense, picking up 13 kills. Boydstun-Eaton got some help from Tate Thompson and his 28 assists. Asher Kemp controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Las Lomas is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Head-Royce's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Las Lomas has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Concord on the 13th. As for Head-Royce, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bentley on the 12th.
