Baseball Recap: Richard Wright Public Charter School Falls to DC International in First Game of Season

Richard Wright Public Charter School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 22-2 to the DC International Dragons on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

DC International now has a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richard Wright Public Charter School will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DC International at 3:00 p.m. on April 10th. As for DC International, they will challenge Landon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. DC International is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
