Softball Recap: Lyon County Gets the Win

Lyon County lost to Franklin-Simpson back in March of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lyons had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 8-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lyons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lyon County's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Franklin-Simpson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.

Lyon County is on the road again on Saturday to play Central Hardin at 9:00 a.m. As for Franklin-Simpson, they will head out to take on Allen County-Scottsville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
