Baseball Game Preview: Vestal Golden Bears vs. Union-Endicott Tigers

For the second straight game, Vestal will face off against Union-Endicott. The Golden Bears will head out to square off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vestal has ten straight victories, Union-Endicott has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Vestal's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Union-Endicott by a score of 4-0.

Ben Tanton was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Vestal's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Union-Endicott, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
