Manteno had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 70-63 victory over the Morris Redskins. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 57-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Manteno is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Morris, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-7.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Manteno Panthers challenge the Herscher Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manteno knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Herscher likes a good challenge. As for Morris, they will venture away from home to face off against Plano at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
