Volleyball Recap: Augusta E Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Augusta E didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

Tessa Lovell paced Augusta E's offense, picking up five kills. Lovell got some help from Bailey Sheron and her five assists. Sheron was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Augusta E's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Augusta E and Coastal HomeSchool will both be playing Providence Athletic Club the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hurricanes will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
