Football Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo fell victim to Midlakes and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Screaming Eagles and fell 52-0. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Screaming Eagles since Friday.

Waterloo dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Midlakes, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coincidentally, Waterloo and Midlakes will both be playing Lyons/Sodus the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host Lyons/Sodus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Screaming Eagles will head out to face them on October 9.
