Basketball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 51-43 to the Plymouth Panthers.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Plymouth, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Appleton West is taking a road trip to face off against Kaukauna at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth, they will host Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Kettle Moraine Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Plymouth likes a good challenge.
