Baseball Recap: Western Reserve Academy Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Western Reserve Academy's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Archbishop Hoban Knights on Monday. The Pioneers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Western Reserve Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Western Reserve Academy and Archbishop Hoban should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Pioneers will face off against Firestone at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (62 vs. 380). Meanwhile, Archbishop Hoban (ranked 18th) will meet St. Edward (ranked 151st) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
