Kenton Ridge put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Northwestern Warriors with a sharp 9-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Kenton Ridge's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-0. As for Northwestern, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Kenton Ridge and Northwestern should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Cougars (ranked second) will meet Arcanum (ranked 156th) at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northwestern will face off against Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (167 vs. 408).
