Basketball Recap: Atchison's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Atchison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Fighting Irish.

Atchison's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Lafayette, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Atchison and Lafayette should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Atchison will face off against Schlagle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 122 places (96 vs. 218). Atchison is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Lafayette (ranked 105th) will meet Cameron (ranked 369th) at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
