Basketball Recap: Lake Takes a Loss

Lake was the 60-51 winner over Wooster when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Blue Streaks took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wooster Generals on Saturday. The Blue Streaks just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Wooster, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake will face off against GlenOak at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake is facing GlenOak at the right time seeing as GlenOak is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wooster, they will square off against Dover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wooster will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Dover will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
