El Dorado came into Friday's match looking for another win against Granbury, but Kyndal Cardwell wouldn't allow it. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Aztecs on Friday for which the team can thank Cardwell, who had 13 digs and four assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

While Granbury won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-8.

The win made it two in a row for Granbury and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for El Dorado, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Granbury has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Chisholm Trail on the 22nd. As for El Dorado, they will be playing at home against Andress at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
