Drummond had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fairview Yellowjackets by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets on Monday, they had to take a 10-7 loss.

Drummond's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Fairview, they moved to 18-4 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Drummond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Ripley on the 20th. As for Fairview, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Mooreland on the 20th.
