Basketball Recap: Gans Takes a Loss

Gans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 40-22 to the Keota Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-29 back in December of 2024.

Gans' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Keota, they moved to 6-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Gans will take on Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gans is facing Midway at the right time seeing as Midway is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Keota, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Keota Lions face off against the Braggs Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
