They took a serious blow against Elkhart Christian Academy, falling 57-21. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hamilton in their matchups with Elkhart Christian Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Clayton Spaw, who scored seven points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hamilton struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Elkhart Christian Academy racked up 12 assists.
Aiden Hibbard was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Maliki Redmond was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Hamilton's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lakeland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Lakeland Christian Academy is ranked 447th, while Hamilton is ranked 444th). As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Prairie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie Heights comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
