Football Game Preview: Spoto Spartans vs. Leto Falcons + How To Watch

The Spoto Spartans will take on the Leto Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spoto will be strutting in after a win while Leto will be coming in after a defeat.

Spoto's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Freedom 49-0. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Jesse Harden and Alando Riggins were among the main playmakers for Spoto as the former rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries and the latter rushed for 131 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Spoto was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 383 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, Leto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 36-0 loss at the hands of Chamberlain.

Leto's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spoto, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Spoto has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 195.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Leto, though, as they've been averaging only 55 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything came up roses for Spoto against Leto in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 66-23 win. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
