Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Charleston Catholic Irish
Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Charleston Catholic Irish. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
While Buffalo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.
Jocie Harris paced Buffalo's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Claire Sunyog and her seven assists. Amya Bias controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Charleston Catholic, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
Buffalo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Clay County on the 9th. As for Charleston Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Philip Barbour on the 6th.
