Basketball Game Preview: Community Christian Academy Eagles vs. Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers

The Community Christian Academy Eagles will take on the Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Community Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to St. Teresa's Catholic. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Community Christian Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Kylin McDonald, who posted 20 points. McDonald's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Preston Smith, who earned 11 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colquitt Christian Academy). They snuck past First Academy with a 48-44 victory on Friday.

Colquitt Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Community Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7.
