Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hopkins). They came out on top against the Eden Prairie Eagles by a score of 6-3 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Hopkins' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Eden Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Hopkins will host Mankato West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Scarlets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Royals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eden Prairie, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Chaska on the 26th.
