Cartersville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Alpharetta Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hurricanes have posted since October 22, 2024.

Riley Huff paced Cartersville's offense, picking up seven kills. Huff got some help from Emma Wall and her 13 assists. Adelynn England controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cartersville's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Alpharetta, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Looking ahead, Cartersville will face off against Pope at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alpharetta, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Milton at 5:00 p.m.
