Recap: Treasure Coast Titans vs. Royal Palm Beach Wildcats

After a string of five wins, the Treasure Coast Titans's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to Royal Palm Beach. Treasure Coast was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Royal Palm Beach apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Despite the loss, Treasure Coast still got an impressive performance from Tyson Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. Wilson hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Bek Fleurissaint, who scored 15 points along with three steals.

Treasure Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Royal Palm Beach, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will take on Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Centennial is ranked 64th, while Treasure Coast is ranked 87th). Royal Palm Beach will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Seminole Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Seminole Ridge has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
